Job description

Summary:
The Manager, Stations Training, is responsible for the leadership, oversight, and continuous improvement of Allegiant's Stations Training programs, curriculum oversight and management, and instructional development processes. This role ensures that training programs, instructional materials, and delivery methods support operational consistency, regulatory compliance, safety, and frontline performance across the Allegiant network.

The Manager, Stations Training, leads the day-to-day operation of the Stations Training department and provides direction to the Supervisor, Stations Training, Corporate Trainers, Instructional Designers, and Curriculum Developers. This position partners closely with operational leaders, Stations Standards, Allegiant University, Safety, and other stakeholders to ensure that training remains operationally accurate, learner-focused, scalable, and aligned with company and regulatory requirements.

Years of Experience:    
Minimum four (4) years of airline operations, operational training, or aviation-related operational leadership experience.
Minimum two (2) years of leadership or management experience within an operational, training, or regulatory environment.

Job Duties
Lead the operational execution, oversight, and continuous improvement of all Stations Training Programs, including initial, recurrent, supplemental, remedial, leadership, and role-specific training.
Provide leadership and direction to the Supervisor, Stations Training, Corporate Trainers, Instructional Designers, and Curriculum Developers to ensure alignment, accountability, and effective execution of departmental objectives.
Oversee the development, governance, maintenance, and implementation of Stations Training curriculum and instructional content to ensure alignment with operational procedures, policy changes, regulatory requirements, and frontline operational execution.
Partner with Stations Standards, Allegiant University, Safety, operational leaders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions.
Establish team priorities, timelines, workflow coordination, and resource alignment for training development, curriculum initiatives, instructional design projects, and operational training support.
Ensure all training programs, instructional materials, and delivery methods comply with company policies, FAA, TSA, DOT, IOSA/IATA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Implement and support Safety Management System (SMS) principles and safety risk management processes within the training environment.
Maintain oversight of training quality assurance processes, instructional standards, learner effectiveness, and training delivery methods to support operational readiness, scalability, consistency, and frontline execution.
Lead training interventions and performance improvement initiatives through evaluation of operational trends, audit findings, safety data, compliance metrics, instructor performance, and training effectiveness.
Ensure Corporate Trainers, Master Trainers, Local Trainers, and applicable vendor trainers maintain required qualifications, certifications, and training standards.
Provide leadership, coaching, development, and performance management support to department personnel while overseeing departmental productivity and operational priorities.
Support recruiting, onboarding, development, and succession planning efforts for Stations Training personnel.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support operational initiatives, system implementations, process improvements, and enterprise projects impacting Stations operations and training.
Assist in the development and implementation of blended learning strategies, computer-based training (CBT), virtual learning, instructor-led training, and other operational learning solutions.
Ensure proper oversight, organization, distribution, and version control of training records, curriculum documentation, instructional materials, manuals, bulletins, and related training resources.
Maintain familiarity with operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and frontline operational environments to ensure training remains practical, relevant, and aligned with real-world execution.
Travel as required to conduct station visits, training observations, operational assessments, intervention support, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Ensure any direct reports understand and apply the Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities, as appropriate.
Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.

May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.

Airport Agent - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb and use hands and fingers to operate various types of tools and equipment (i.e. hand trucks, carts, ramps, tugs, etc.). Are required to lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs. and to push and/or pull up to 300 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to heights, small spaces, extreme noise (i.e. airport with planes, vehicles, and other machinery), temperature, wind, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to crawl in and out of small spaces for extended periods of time. Ability to wear personal protective gear. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
