About the role:

WEG has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager, Human Resources in our corporate headquarters office located in Duluth Georgia. The Senior Manager, Human Resources will provide strategic and operational HR leadership to drive productivity, engagement and retention that supports business objectives, company growth and promote a positive employee experience. You will lead the development and execution of HR strategies, policies, and compliance practices while guiding a team of HR professionals to deliver effective HR services and business partnership.

The role partners with senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, and change management while overseeing core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, compensation, benefits, talent management and organizational effectiveness.

This position represents a significant leadership opportunity for a strategic HR leader seeking to apply their expertise with the largest industrial electric motor manufacturer in the Americas and one of the largest manufacturers of electric motors in the world.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and execution of human resource strategies
  • Lead change management efforts related to growth, restructuring, or operational shifts
  • Provide strategic direction and governance for regional benefits and compensation programs that balances the needs of talent retention and financial capability of the organization
  • Lead, develop, and coach HR Team with clearly established performance expectations and drive accountability.
  • Provide strategic direction and governance for regional benefits and compensation programs and ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company philosophy and financial objectives.
  • Leads harmonization amongst US subsidiaries of WEG to gain benefits of scale in all associated areas (Compensation, Benefits, WC, 401k etc.)
  • Serves as Fiduciary on the 401k plan and ensure the timely remittance of deferrals and loan payments, accuracy and retention of 401k records and support of annual 401k audit and 5500 filings
  • Leads Talent Management programs to promote performance management, succession planning and talent development ·
  • Champion policy development, implementation and enforcement of company-wide HR policies and procedures ·
  • Serve as escalation point for complex employee relations, compliance, and organizational issues
  • Lead all global mobility and immigration program activity and vendor relations for all of North America
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and systems and lead regular auditing programs of the HR function.
  • Apply strong global acumen to foster partnerships with corporate headquarters and other foreign entities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, preferably in Human Resources.

Knowledge / training:

  • Demonstrated experience leading and overseeing HR teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits design, and employment law.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change.
  • HR certification preferred.

Experience:

  • 15 + years of progressive and strategic HR leadership.
