We are looking for a Compliance Monitor who will positively impact student success by planning, carrying out, evaluating, and supervising IEP compliance activities. Our Central Compliance Monitors play a key role in ensuring that students receive individualized educational programs with access to high quality specially designed instruction. Core Duties and Responsibilities
“Day In the Life” Overview
On a regular day, as the Central Compliance Monitor, you might:
● Prepare compliance reports for your assigned Learning Community
● Support students in reaching their individualized education plan goals and standards
● Support Teachers of Record with IEP components; ie: goal writing, service provisions, present levels of performance
● Provide direct, explicit training for new special education teachers
● Attend PLC or IEP meetings
● Keep compliance records and data tracking up to date
● Prepare for and attend RDA Meetings for your Learning Community
● Conduct IEP reviews
● Work collaboratively with other staff

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university
● At least three (3) years of successful teaching experience
● Valid Indiana Teaching License in Special Education
● Working knowledge of federal and state special education laws, rules, and practices including IDEA and Article 7
● Broad knowledge of Indiana and IPS special education policies, practices and programs
