Position Overview
Howard Technology Solutions is a rapidly expanding technology solutions provider for the Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education, Government and Commercial markets.
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused IDN Account Manager to manage and grow strategic partnerships with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and large healthcare systems. This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands the complexity of healthcare organizations, thrives in a consultative sales environment, and is motivated by long-term account growth.
The IDN Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, ensuring our solutions align with customer needs while driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction across a regional territory.
Responsibilities
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned IDN and healthcare system accounts
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive decision-makers, influencers, and operational leaders
    • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within existing and prospective IDN accounts
    • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through contract execution
    • Achieve and exceed assigned territory sales quotas
    • Conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and in-service trainings
    • Develop and maintain accurate monthly forecasts and sales plans
    • Strategically plan and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly activities to maximize territory performance
    • Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM, including daily activity tracking and weekly sales productivity reporting

Skills/Qualifications
  • Travel & Work Environment
    • Position is responsible for a regional territory
    • Requires regular regional travel, including overnight travel as needed
    • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends for customer meetings or events
    Qualifications & Skills
    • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare sales, account management, or business development, with IDN or large health system exposure
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
    • Proven ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships
    • Strong interest in healthcare technology and solution-based selling
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and CRM systems
    • Professional, polished presence with strong interpersonal skills
    • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
    • Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership of territory performance
