Job description

We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Physical Therapists (PT) interested in providing school-based therapy services to students being served by Garden City School District. Therapists are responsible for organizing and educating students and providing Physical Therapy as outlined in laws and policies. Responsibilities include: planning and designing student’s Physical Therapy program, consistent with the total educational goals of the students. Participating in educational meetings, IEP planning & documentation, visiting related facilities, reading professional literature, and exchanging ideas with school staff.

Salary: $75 - $80/hour

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Must have a valid professional license and registration for the state of New York
  • A team player, eager to collaborate and coordinate with DOE staff and parents
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant clinical services.
