Carlsbad Medical Center

Travel Med/Surg RN
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 6:30a-7p, floating and call required

**2 years' experience required
**BLS required
**ACLS & PALS preferred

General Comments
FINGERPRINTS FOR ALL NM TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED!!
***Please only submit candidates if your agency is registered with the state of New Mexico as the fingerprint process can take several weeks***

General Medical-Surgical Inpatient Nursing Unit
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Blocked Scheduling may be accommodated, must include in BODY of submittal
48 hr. Guarantees are NOT approved
Scrub Color = Any Color
EMR = MedHost
There is not an on-call schedule for Med-Surg. The only time a nurse is put on call is for a census flex on call prior to the start of the scheduled shift if census is low.
Scope of role: General medsurg nursing duties with occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor
