Location: 100% Remote (EST time zone alignment)

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, flexible within core hours (e.g., 9:00 AMโ€“1:00 PM EST or 1:00 PMโ€“5:00 PM EST shifts)

Job Summary

The Senior Recruiter is a key member of the talent acquisition team, focusing exclusively on job posting, pre-screening, and resume review (qualifying candidates) to build a strong pipeline of talent for our non-profit HR consulting and staffing initiatives. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, this role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in sourcing strategies and candidate evaluation. Key Responsibilities

  • Post job openings on various free and low-cost platforms (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, Idealist.org, and non-profit job boards), crafting compelling descriptions that highlight our mission and attract diverse candidates.
  • Pre-screen applications by reviewing resumes, cover letters, and initial submissions to assess qualifications, skills, and fit with role requirements.
  • Conduct resume reviews and qualifying assessments, identifying top candidates based on criteria like experience, education, and alignment with our superhero empowerment ethos.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Supervisor to refine posting strategies and qualifying criteria, ensuring efficiency and compliance with equal opportunity guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of postings, pre-screening results, and qualified candidates in shared tools like Google Sheets or free ATS alternatives.
  • Provide feedback on resume trends to improve job descriptions and support Inclusive Superpower in diverse sourcing.
  • Assist in reporting on recruitment metrics related to postings and pre-screening (e.g., application volume, qualification rates).

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3โ€“5+ years in recruitment, with proven expertise in job posting, pre-screening, and resume qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing platforms and best practices for attracting diverse talent.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms) for tracking and collaboration.
