Job description

IT Asset Management is responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording software licenses and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Responsible for managing enterprise hardware and software across the organization

  • Own the overall process for purchasing DT hardware and software

  • Owns enterprise software license and software maintenance renewals, including Microsoft, Adobe, IBM and others

  • Work with end user support and vendor management to coordinate computer lifecycle replacement and management

  • Manage license compliance audit activities.

  • Ensure the accuracy of the CMDB as it relates to hardware and software inventory

  • Partner with vendor management and end user support to manage PC hardware leases

  • Develop processes, policies, standards and measurements to help company manage its IT asset portfolio

  • Analyze KPI/metric information and standardized reporting as it relates to DT asset inventory

  • Ensure quality control throughout the lifecycle of all company IT assets

  • Partner with vendor management to assist with optimizing technology spend

  • Research industry best practices for DT asset management and incorporating them with organizational practices

  • Applying continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in hardware and software asset spend

  • Reducing waste and making the most of existing IT hardware and software asset resources

  • Manage incident and request tasks for DT asset management in Service Now

  • Provide knowledge sharing, as recognized SME, in efforts such as writing complex knowledge articles, relationship development with other Digital Technology (DT) staff, mentoring, and job shadowing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or equivalent.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in Information Technology, or in a related area.
  • Relevant industry related certifications.
  • Information Technology experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
  • Contract negotiation
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, ServiceNow and Apptio

Pay Range:

$82,900.00 - $134,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
