Job description

Description:  Our District has an exciting Before & After Care Program for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade called "Beyond the Bell".  We are seeking a Site Coordinator to plan, lead, participate, supervise, and implement the activities for children aged 5 – 11 years old. Selected individuals will organize and implement after-school activities while ensuring proper supervision.  Selected individual will ensure the safety of the children as well as ensure a smooth operation of program activities such as arts & crafts, stories, indoor/outdoor play, homework, etc.  Site Coordinator also monitors staffing, training, and scheduling, along with attendance. The selected individual will be assigned to the specific District 64 schools in Park Ridge. This is an IMRF (pension) eligible position.

Qualifications:  This position requires two to three years of experience working with children ages 5-11 and an advanced level of written and verbal communication in the English language. Must be CPR/AED and first-aid certified or can become certified (through our district) before the onset of the program. 


Availability: Position to start in early August and continue through the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking applicants to work weekday mornings and afternoons.


Approximate available shifts are:
6:45 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. Monday through Friday
3:15 P.M. – 6:15 P.M. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
2:15 P.M. – 6:15 P.M. Wednesday
