Overview

We are seeking a Network Analyst to support counter-narcotics and transnational organized crime (TOC) mission requirements. The analyst will conduct all-source network analysis, criminal analysis, and threat finance analysis to identify, map, and assess illicit networks involved in activities such as narcotics trafficking, terrorism, money laundering, cryptocurrency transactions, weapons trafficking, and cyber-enabled threats.
In this role, the analyst will integrate intelligence community reporting, law enforcement data, financial records, and open-source information to produce actionable intelligence products that support operational and tactical missions for Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and Law Enforcement (LE) partners.
The position requires strong experience with link analysis, network visualization, and entity-level analysis using analytic platforms such as i2 Analyst Notebook, Palantir, or similar tools.
Responsibilities
Network Analysis & Targeting
  • Conduct entity-level all-source network analysis focused on global drug trafficking organizations (DTOs), transnational organized crime networks, and related illicit activities.
  • Analyze patterns, relationships, and behaviors within criminal and terrorist networks to identify vulnerabilities and operational opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain network charts, link diagrams, and analytic models depicting organizational structures, communications, and financial connections.

Intelligence Integration & Data Exploitation
  • Fuse large volumes of data from intelligence community reporting, law enforcement databases, financial records, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and commercially available information (CAI).
  • Analyze communications data, travel records, financial transactions (including cryptocurrency), and digital artifacts such as phone numbers, IP addresses, email accounts, and social media identifiers.
  • Conduct pattern-of-life analysis and multi-source data correlation to identify emerging leads and targets.

Operational Intelligence Support
  • Produce actionable intelligence products including target packages, analytic reports, lead cables, and operational briefings.
  • Provide intelligence support to DoD, intelligence agencies, and federal law enforcement partners conducting investigations and operations against criminal and terrorist networks.
  • Identify previously unknown relationships, facilitators, and financial mechanisms supporting illicit networks.

Collaboration & Coordination
  • Participate in working groups, analytic exchanges, and interagency meetings with partners across the DoD, Intelligence Community, and law enforcement organizations.
  • Present analytic findings and operational recommendations to stakeholders and mission partners.
  • Facilitate information sharing across government agencies and operational commands.

Analytical Workflow & Tradecraft
  • Develop analytic workflows to evaluate incoming intelligence, bulk datasets, and investigative leads.
  • Identify intelligence gaps and develop recommendations for additional collection or analysis.
  • Apply advanced analytic techniques including:
    • Link and nodal analysis
    • Financial network analysis
    • Data mining and enrichment
    • Pattern analysis
    • Multimedia and visualization production

Training & Knowledge Sharing
  • Contribute to analytic tradecraft development and internal training.
  • Participate in peer discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions focused on network analysis methodologies and analytic best practices.

Qualifications
  • 12 years of intelligence experience, including 2 years directly supporting similar mission requirements and operational environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active TS/SCI with the ability to a Polygraph
  • Experience conducting all-source intelligence analysis or criminal network analysis supporting military, intelligence, or law enforcement organizations.
  • Experience using link analysis and visualization tools such as:
    • i2 Analyst Notebook
    • Palantir
    • Semantica/Cortex
    • Similar analytic platforms
  • Experience analyzing complex networks, hierarchies, and entity relationships.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple intelligence sources and investigative datasets.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear analytic products and briefings for operational stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with interagency or multinational partners.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting counter-narcotics (CN), counter-terrorism (CT), counter-threat finance (CTF), or transnational organized crime (C-TOC) missions.
  • Experience working with financial intelligence, cryptocurrency analysis, or dark web investigations.
  • Experience leveraging multiple intelligence disciplines including HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, MASINT, and OSINT.
  • Familiarity with intelligence community databases and law enforcement analytic tools.
