Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a crew of 2-3 laborers on a daily basis
  • Manage and complete work such as silt fence installation, hydroseeding, underdrain installation, manhole punch work, bond release items, asphalt patching and crack sealing
  • Operate mini-excavators and skid steers to perform daily job functions
  • Complete daily paperwork including but not limited to daily job tickets, time sheets
  • Trench/Excavate
  • Load and unload construction materials
  • Respectfully Communicate directly with Client Representatives, Superintendents, and Project Managers
  • Super Silt Fence, Silt fence, seeding, punch work, or under drain experience preferred

Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Experience driving a truck with trailer
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Eligible for employment in the United States
  • 3 years' construction or landscaping experience
  • Experience with Bobcats and/or mini excavator
  • Silt fence or under drain experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:
Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.
Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
