Job description

Mandatory Experience: Hyatt House or Hyatt Place Experience in Mandatory
We are looking for a Front Office Manager with proven experience at Hyatt House or Hyatt Place to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Hyatt brand standards, guest service excellence, and front office operations.
In this role, you will lead the front desk team, ensure smooth daily operations, and deliver an exceptional guest experience consistent with Hyatt's reputation.
Responsibilities
  • Lead daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, guest services, and night audit functions
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and guide Front Desk, Guest Services, and Night Audit staff
  • Ensure strict adherence to Hyatt brand standards and service protocols
  • Work closely with Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain room readiness and quality
  • Manage room inventory, rates, and reservations in partnership with Revenue & Sales teams
  • Resolve guest concerns and handle escalations professionally and promptly
  • Oversee billing accuracy, cash handling, and audit processes
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvement strategies
  • Prepare operational reports and participate in leadership meetings

Requirements
  • Previous experience with Hyatt House or Hyatt Place (Required)
  • 2-3 years in a Front Office leadership role (Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager)

Skills & Competencies
  • Proficient in Hyatt systems (Opera/Host, HGS, Reserve, etc.)
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field (Preferred)
  • Hyatt brand certifications/training (Advantageous)
