Summary:
Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Maintenance Team leadership as our Engineering Supervisor at the Hyatt Regency Seattle!

The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership support for the second shift engineerig team, across our three-hotel collection: Hyatt Regency Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8, Grand Hyatt Seattle. This leader must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, using a windows based computer system. Ability to read blue prints and schematics is also required. A minimum of 5-years building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. Good communication skills are necessary. Additionally, this position requires strong leadership skills, and a willingness to work different shifts as the demands of business dictates.
The hourly rate range for this position is $44.20/hour to $45.08/hour. The starting rate for this position is $44.20/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in this position with Hyatt for four years or more, which is currently offered at $45.08/hour.

Qualifications:
  • Open scheduling availability for 2nd Shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred
  • Engineering/Maintenance leadership experience preferred
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
