POSITION SUMMARY

At San Pedro Fish Market, our Food Runner is responsible for delivering the correct order to our guests while
providing amazing, friendly and professional service. This position requires a positive attitude, a desire to take
care of our guests and the ability to work cohesively within a strong team environment. Any member of our crew
should enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment with the capacity to take and follow direction and
multi-task efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work Tasks:

Maintain a working knowledge of all food menu items.

Deliver the correct food from the kitchen to the guest efficiently and with an approachable, upbeat

attitude.

Greet guests with professional and friendly hospitality, offering your assistance whenever necessary.

Anticipate the guest's needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.

Ensure guests have proper utensils, plates, napkins and condiments.

Assist with clearing and cleaning tables throughout the guest's visit as well as immediately upon

departure.

Adapt to changing guest volume with a sense of urgency.

Ensure service stations are clean, stocked and well organized.

Perform work tasks calmly and effectively under stressful conditions.

Promote an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting co-workers.

Uphold the Company's service standards and KOF Teamwork Responsibilities.

Perform opening and closing duties, side work and ensure checklists are completed accurately.

Effectively communicate with fellow crew members and the management team.

Follow company policies and procedures.

Maintain a safe working environment for crew and guests.

Comply with all city, state, federal and Company regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety policies

and promptly report violations or concerns to the General Manager.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant experience.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.

Current Food Handler's Card must be maintained.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others.

Ability to read, write and comprehend English.

Ability to read, interpret and understand an extensive variety of work-related instructions and documents

pertaining to Company operations, safety, finance, HR and payroll.

Ability to effectively collaborate with others to reach common goals.

Ability to use the Company's timekeeping system and point of service system.

Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Working knowledge of city, state and federal hospitality guidelines.
