Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) is seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Elementary Teacher to lead instruction in the MAPS
(Multi-Age Positive Support) Program at Table Rock Elementary. This is a vital role in our district's mission to support the
diverse learning needs of all students through innovation, and care.
Located in the scenic Rogue Valley of southern Oregon, EPSD9 serves approximately 3,650 students across the communities of
Eagle Point, White City, and nearby areas. We embrace small-town values alongside progressive educational practices,

About the Role
The Special Education Teacher for the MAPS Program at Table Rock Elementary will design and deliver specially tailored instruction for students
with diverse needs, ensuring access to rigorous, supportive, and meaningful learning experiences. This educator will serve as a
key member of the Student Services Team, supporting students through individualized instruction and collaboration with families and staff.
This role includes planning and delivering instruction, monitoring student progress, maintaining all compliance records, and managing
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The teacher will participate in multidisciplinary teams, lead IEP meetings, consult with
general education staff, support educational assistants, and provide family outreach. Additionally, the teacher will
implement strategies aligned with best practices in special education while promoting
student engagement, safety, and academic growth.
The position demands a commitment to professional collaboration and leadership. It also requires familiarity with state and federal laws
regarding special education and the ability to use appropriate methodologies and technology to
support students in their learning.

We seek a highly collaborative and compassionate educator with a current Oregon Teaching License
with a Special Education endorsement. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of the Individuals with
Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and other related laws, along with excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.

consulting with families, and supporting staff. They should be able to design accessible curriculum and behavior supports,

Position Title: Special Education Teacher - MAPS Program

Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 193/194 days to begin August 2026
Salary Range: No less than $46,548 - $90,846 plus master's stipend of $2,327 (depending upon approved previous experience and graduate level credits).
Special Education Teachers receive a Federal Compliance Stipend of $3,000 each year
Salary listed indicates current 2023-2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement - subject to change
Position will begin August 2026, with screening to begin immediately.
