Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our logistics company, with a focus on servicing exporters, freight forwarders, and targeting the Indian market. As a Freight forwarding sales specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships, and promoting our logistics services to exporters, freight forwarders, and clients with shipping needs to and from the USA. This position requires a strong background in sales, expertise in export and freight forwarding industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and prospect exporters, freight forwarders, and clients with shipping needs to and from the USA, generating new business leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with exporters, freight forwarders, and clients operating in the USA market, understanding their logistics requirements and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with exporters, freight forwarders, and clients to close sales deals and secure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales plans and strategies, aligned with the unique requirements of exporters, freight forwarders, and the USA market.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events focused on export, freight forwarding, and the USA market to expand professional network and promote our services.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the sales manager, highlighting opportunities and challenges within the export, freight forwarding sectors.
- Liaise with internal teams, such as operations and customer service, to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.
- Continuously build knowledge of logistics solutions, industry trends, and best practices related to exporting, freight forwarding, and the USA market.

Payout Bracket: Commission based 20% flat
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales, with experience in servicing exporters, freight forwarders.
- Strong sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales goals.
- In-depth knowledge of the export and freight forwarding industries, including relevant regulations, customs procedures, trade requirements, and shipping trends.
- Familiarity with the USA market dynamics, including shipping routes, distribution channels, and industry practices.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in spoken English
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with attention to details
