  • Lead complex technical projects from experimental design through execution and completion

  • Develop and conduct experiments independently or in collaboration with cross-functional partners

  • Create value-added technical solutions for the culinary, snacks and pet food industry using the IFF portfolio

  • Applyexpertisein culinary, snacks and pet food processes such as extrusion, thermal processing, meat rendering, and baking

  • Providetechnical guidance on complex challenges and support moderate-scope project planning

  • Deliver technical support to customers, sales, and internal teams through plant trials, troubleshooting, and training

  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), and related regulatory requirements

  • Support development of technical reports, application literature, invention disclosures, and patents

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Science, Chemical Science, Food Science, or a related field

  • Typically10 years of experience in the food industry, including at least 5 years within culinary, snacks and/or pet food applications or a closely related specialty

  • Experience working in cross-functional, interdepartmental project teams

  • Strong technical knowledge of food processing systems and ingredient applications

  • Ability to manage work independently across broadly defined technical assignments

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to work in laboratory and pilot plant environments and travel up to 30%
