Hunting ranches can cater to both experienced hunters and beginners, often providing equipment and expert guidance. They are popular destinations for recreational hunting and sometimes for wildlife observation as well.

Job description

Experienced Technician Opportunity | Ontario Auto Ranch Ford |
Earn $60,000-$150,000+ Per Year Based on Performance
Ontario Auto Ranch Ford is continuing to grow and we are looking for experienced automotive technicians who are ready for a better opportunity - professionally and personally.
This is not an entry-level opening. We are searching for technicians with a minimum of 2 years of dealership or large independent shop experience who want to stay productive, continue improving their craft, and be part of a shop that values both performance and quality of life.
If you are tired of feeling buried inside a large metro dealership, frustrated with excessive politics, inconsistent workflow, or feeling like just another number in the shop, this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.
Why Technicians Are Making the Move
Fruitland, Idaho offers something that has become difficult to find in larger cities:
  • Lower cost of living
  • Affordable housing and property ownership opportunities
  • Excellent schools and strong family communities
  • Short commutes and less stress outside of work
  • Safer neighborhoods and lower crime rates than many metro markets
  • Access to hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, boating, motorsports, and open outdoor recreation

This is a place where technicians can build a strong income while still enjoying time with family and life outside the shop.
Many technicians relocating from larger metro areas are surprised how much further their income stretches here compared to urban markets.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Annual earning potential of $60,000-$150,000+ depending on experience, productivity, and certifications
  • Flat-rate pay structure with strong income opportunity for productive technicians
  • Sign-on bonus available for the right candidate
  • Relocation and toolbox moving assistance available
  • Monday-Friday schedule with limited Saturday rotation

Our goal is simple: keep productive technicians busy, supported, and well compensated.
What Makes Ontario Auto Ranch Ford Different
We continue investing heavily into our service department, tooling, equipment, and technician support systems. We believe talented technicians deserve:
  • Consistent workflow
  • Fair dispatching
  • Strong leadership support
  • Team-oriented shop culture
  • Respect for work-life balance
  • Paid training and career development opportunities

You should not have to sacrifice your personal life to have a successful automotive career.
At Ontario Auto Ranch Ford, high-performing technicians are recognized, appreciated, and given opportunities to continue growing.
Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance efficiently and accurately
  • Identify and document recommended repairs and maintenance items
  • Complete work according to manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics
  • Road test vehicles and verify completed repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Work collaboratively with advisors and fellow technicians
Benefits
  • Health Insurance
  • Dental and Vision Coverage
  • Life Insurance
  • Disability & Accident Coverage
  • 401(k) with employer participation
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • Employee discounts
  • Paid manufacturer and technical training
  • Career advancement opportunities
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of dealership or large independent shop experience required
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
  • ASE certifications are valued
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced flat-rate environment
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a technician who wants more than just another job.
A better shop environment. Better leadership. Better balance outside of work. A place where your effort matters and your income potential is not capped by unnecessary barriers.
If you are ready for a fresh opportunity with strong earning potential and a better overall lifestyle, apply today.
All conversations are completely confidential.
