Facilities Maintenance Technician
Where We Are: Three Forks Ranch is on an expansive 280,000-acre wilderness area, nestled in
a secluded location on the Colorado Wyoming border. Located approximately 46 miles north of
Steamboat Springs, CO, our vast expanse of undeveloped land is a rare gem, preserving the
natural beauty and pristine landscapes of the Rocky Mountain West. The ranch is a unique
destination unlike any other in the region.


What We Are: An all-inclusive luxury mountain resort and spa that operates year-round
catering to outdoor enthusiasts in an exquisite guest destination. We offer 66 unique guest
accommodations comprised of main lodge suites and luxury houses. Guests can escape the
stressors of daily life and immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature while having access to
an assortment of professionally guided recreational activities such as fly fishing, hunting, Nordic
and downhill skiing, snowboarding, cattle drives, mountain biking, snowmobiling, spa services

What We Are Looking For: A full-time, year-round qualified and dependable experienced
Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the
operations of over 50 buildings on the ranch including guest lodges, staff housing, workshops,
and utility systems. This is a role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent
communication skills, a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work efficiently in a highly
productive environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with broad
knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance; preferrably with
experience working in hospitality. This role reports to and works under the general supervision
of the Facilities Engineer.


Job Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on buildings, utilities, and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
Conduct preventative maintenance checks and inspections
Maintain and service pools, spas, and related equipment, including water quality
testing, chemical balancing, and filter cleaning
Work with a team to respond quickly to guest- or operations-related service requests
Document repairs, replacements, and inspections accurately
Support seasonal projects such as winterization, landscaping, or infrastructure upgrades
Collaborate with management and vendors
Qualification Requirements

4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a resort setting
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC and electrical systems
Willingness and ability to respond to after hours, on-call service requests
Able and willing to work inside and outside in various weather conditions\
Valid drivers license and good driving record
Reliable vehicle, preferably four-wheel or all-wheel drive
Basic set of hand and power tools
Adherence to company safety standards
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Pool Operator experience preferred; certification training available for the
right candidate

Three Forks Ranch offers competitive wages. The wage rate for this position is dependent on the
experience and training of the applicant.
