Our Pool Maintenance Technicians are held to a high standard at Blue Science. In this customer-facing role, you will maintain pools, inspect equipment, and manage customer expectations daily. In return, Blue Science will provide you with a company truck for your routes (valid driver’s license required), a gas card (all gas paid), and excellent career growth opportunities!

This position is located in the Houston, TX Metro.

The service areas include Montgomery, Conroe, New Caney, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, Humble, Pattison, Katy, Jersey Village, Hunters Creek Village, Cinco Ranch, Rosenberg, Richmond, Sugar Land, Fresno, Pearland, Rosharon, Alvin, Galveston, Texas City, Dickinson, League City, La Porte, Deer Park, and Pasadena.

Your service area will depend on where you are currently located.

Job Description

  • Perform weekly cleaning and maintenance on clients' pools by skimming, vacuuming, and brushing walls and steps.
  • Maintain and clean pool filters.
  • Adjust, maintain, and regularly test the water to ensure proper chemistry.
  • Consistently inspect pools and equipment, providing solutions and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Resolve client or customer concerns and provide excellent customer care.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and customer service skills.
  • The ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
  • Ability to work outside year-round in a variety of conditions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and pool experience preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma / GED

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday with weekend / Saturday opportunity!
