Position: Project Manager
Location: New York City Metropolitan Area
Type: Full-time | Onsite
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Responsible for project planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, contract administration, client communication, quality control, safety compliance, and project turnover.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, execution, closeout, and warranty support.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and two-week look-ahead schedules.
  • Lead project teams, including Assistant Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, procurement, contract administration, and change orders.
  • Monitor project costs, maintain ACR reports, and manage invoicing and payment approvals.
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, and regulatory compliance (DOB, DOT, MTA, DEC, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company standards throughout project execution.
  • Conduct project meetings, maintain project documentation, logs, reports, RFIs, submittals, and closeout records.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Strong experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, change orders, and contract administration.
  • Knowledge of construction permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience managing project teams and field operations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and client management skills.

Preferred Experience
  • Commercial, public infrastructure, transportation, mixed-use, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience coordinating with agencies such as DOB, DOT, MTA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, project scheduling, and cost control systems.
