The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Typically work on semi-routine assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator onsite at the Peoria Clinic.

Now offering a $2,000 Bonus* for Medical Assistants who join our new Primary Care Clinics in Phoenix in 2026.

Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at: 10280 North 91st Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85345

The Medical Assistant discusses symptoms, obtains vital signs, administers medications and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, collects specimens, conducts screening tests, sterilizes equipment, maintains exam rooms, documents in electronic records, and collaborates with providers within certification limits.

Required

  • You will have complete a MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
  • You Will have a High school diploma or equivalent
  • You will be CPR Certified
  • You will be patient facing and run the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.

Ideal Candidate

  • You will be Certified or Registered - (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina you require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
  • You will have Phlebotomy experience Medication/vaccine administration experience
  • 1+ years MA experience
  • You will have value-based care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
  • You will be Bilingual proficient in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$43,000 - $56,200 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
