Job description

HTI is seeking an experienced Superintendent with a background in K–12 public construction. This role will lead school construction projects throughout the Spartanburg and Greenville, SC area, including ground-up schools, additions, and work on occupied campuses. This position is Direct Hire. The salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience, with bonus potential up to 15%. What They Offer: Free employee healthcare and company HSA contribution 401(k) company match and 529 education savings benefit Company truck and gas card Free employee healthcare and company HSA contribution Unlimited PTO and weekly pay $100 monthly cell phone stipend What You Need: 5+ years of experience working specifically as a Superintendent K-12 public school construction experience, including occupied campuses Experience independently leading complex projects valued at $15M-$20M+ Ground-up construction and addition/renovation experience OSHA 30 certification and strong knowledge of jobsite safety and QA/QC Procore familiarity and experience with structured project procedures Strong Upstate subcontractor relationships and a verifiable project history Stable career progression with a reputation for ownership and follow-through What Your Role Will Look Like: The Superintendent will take full ownership of daily field operations and independently drive assigned projects from startup through closeout. This person must be able to lead subcontractors, protect the schedule, and maintain Carroll Daniel's safety, quality, and documentation standards without requiring close supervision. Plan and manage the daily execution of K-12 construction projects Develop, maintain, and update project schedules; create recovery or resequencing plans when needed Coordinate subcontractors and hold trade partners accountable for safety, quality, scope, and schedule Manage construction on occupied campuses while minimizing disruption to students and staff Interpret plans, specifications, RFIs, change directives, and contract documents Lead jobsite safety, quality assurance, quality control, and loss-prevention activities Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors Maintain accurate field documentation, as-built drawings, progress reporting, and closeout records Build positive working relationships with local subcontractors and project stakeholders Complete additional duties as needed and assigned About HTI Human Technologies, Inc.
