Job Description:

Join us as a Human Resource Intern where you will work help with a variety of different tasks such as employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and policy administration. This immersive experience is located at our Brillion, WI location and will help you build valuable skills within different area of human resources.

This position is currently available and offers flexibility for students, with the option to work part-time while attending school. The role is fully on-site, and remote work is not available. There is also potential for this opportunity to continue through Summer 2027.

THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Serves as the go-to for Brillion operations-based employees

  • Respond timely to employee walk-in, email and phone inquiries which may include company policies and procedures, benefits, Workday, badge access, etc.

  • Assists with the exit process for Brillion hourly-based operation employees including conducting exit interviews, creating, and sending term letters, completing term checklists

  • Assist with new employee orientation by preparing materials, compliance and coordination with other participating presenters

  • Create and post company-wide announcements including promotions and retirements

  • Create flyers and other forms of communication for use across the Brillion campus

  • Maintain employee bulletin boards and HR self-service areas

  • Create new and replacement badges for all employees and serve as a go-to for Win-Pak software.

  • Help with hourly recruiting efforts which may include coordinating and/or conducting phone screens, participating in on-site interviews, administering pre-employment drug screens and conducting pre-employment background checks

  • Schedule and coordinate company-wide, special team meetings, reserves and prepares facilities and transportation needs

  • Work closely with admin team to execute company activities

  • And all other duties assigned

  • Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited college studying toward an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Familiarity with social media and digital marketing strategies

  • Ability to follow instructions and ask questions to ensure clarity of the project or task

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, yet independently as needed

  • Ability to exhibit integrity and confidentiality in all matters

  • Demonstrated initiative, self-starter, and a strong desire to learn and receive feedback/coaching
