Job description

As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer criminal history background check, physical examination and drug screen. All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.
Job Description:
Responsibilities include performing all intake and eligibility task for the Community Developmental Disability Organization to include maintaining an eligibility database to ensure receipt of all required documentation and processes are followed. The Professional Program Assistant will schedule and conduct functional eligibility assessments and input information in a Statewide database. The Professional Program Assistant will meet with stakeholders in the community (i.e. schools, community service providers) to present and provide information about the services provided by our department. Additional duties to include preparing our quarterly newsletter for distribution, participation on local and statewide work groups/ meetings and oversite of office volunteers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Social Service/ Human Service-related field; and one year of related program experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task in a steady paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to work with a diverse client population. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written), able to work with minimal oversight and be available for periodic evening meetings. Bilingual: Spanish preferred but not required.
Salary Range:
$21.86-$28.58/hr.
