What is a Remote DSP?

A Remote DSP (Digital Signal Processing) job involves working with algorithms and techniques to process signals like audio, video, and sensor data, all while working remotely. Professionals in this field develop, optimize, and implement DSP algorithms for applications in telecommunications, audio engineering, biomedical signal processing, and more. They use programming languages like MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ and work with tools like FPGA or DSP processors. Remote DSP jobs allow professionals to collaborate with teams online, leveraging cloud computing or remote-access hardware for development and testing.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote DSP position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote DSP (Direct Support Professional), you need a background in human services, experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with virtual support platforms, documentation systems, and sometimes specific certifications such as CPR/First Aid are commonly required. Strong communication, compassion, patience, and problem-solving skills are essential for building trust and effectively supporting clients from a distance. These competencies ensure you can deliver quality care, navigate remote challenges, and foster independence and well-being for your clients.

What are some common challenges faced by Remote DSPs, and how are they typically addressed?

Remote DSPs often face challenges such as building rapport with clients virtually, ensuring clear communication without in-person cues, and adapting support to a client's changing needs remotely. These challenges are typically addressed through regular video or phone check-ins, using secure messaging platforms, and maintaining detailed records to track progress and concerns. Employers usually provide ongoing training and access to digital tools to help Remote DSPs stay connected and effective in their roles. Team collaboration through virtual meetings and support from supervisors also play a vital role in overcoming these hurdles and maintaining high-quality care.

Are remote DSP jobs hard to get?

Remote DSP (Demand-Side Platform) jobs can be competitive, often requiring experience with digital advertising, programmatic platforms, and data analysis. Candidates with relevant skills, certifications, and a strong understanding of ad tech tools tend to have better chances of securing these roles.

Job description

StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey.

As mobile continues to reshape how consumers discover, engage, and convert, we're building a world-class Sales Specialist organization to help customers unlock the full potential of mobile within their broader omnichannel marketing strategies.

We're looking for a strategic, customer-focused Sales Specialist to partner with enterprise marketers as they evolve their customer acquisition, engagement, and growth strategies. Working closely with Account Executives, Client Partners, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, you'll help customers leverage mobile alongside StackAdapt's broader suite of advertising, AI, audience, measurement, and marketing solutions to drive measurable business outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep mobile advertising expertise with commercial acumen and understands how mobile fits within a modern, integrated marketing strategy and not simply selling mobile media.

StackAdapt is a remote first company and we are open to candidates across all regions in the US and Canada.

What you'll be doing

Drive Customer Growth

  • Partner with Account Executives, Account Managers and Client Partners on strategic customer opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Build and own a pipeline of Mobile Solutions opportunities within our ICP, proactively engaging new customers and buyer personas while owning the full sales lifecycle.
  • Independently source, qualify, and close net-new Mobile Solutions opportunities, while partnering with AEs to accelerate strategic opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Engage marketing leaders to understand business objectives, customer acquisition strategies, measurement priorities, and growth goals.
  • Position StackAdapt's Mobile Solutions as part of broader omnichannel marketing and customer engagement strategies.
  • Lead executive-level discovery, solution strategy, and product demonstrations.
  • Develop account strategies that expand customer adoption across StackAdapt's evolving platform.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise marketers and executive stakeholders.

Be the Subject Matter Expert

  • Develop deep expertise across StackAdapt's Mobile Solutions portfolio, including in-app advertising, app growth, user acquisition, retargeting, app re-engagement, mobile measurement, and emerging mobile technologies.
  • Understand how mobile integrates with CTV, display, video, audience strategy, AI-powered optimization, customer data, and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, privacy changes, mobile measurement, attribution, app ecosystems, and evolving advertiser needs.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for customers.
  • Create repeatable messaging, sales plays, and best practices that enable broader commercial success.

Partner Cross-Functionally

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Sales Leadership.
  • Share customer insights that influence product roadmap, commercialization, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Support product launches and accelerate adoption of new capabilities.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally to continuously improve our solutions.

Enable the Business

  • Coach Account Executives, Account Managers and Client Partners on positioning Mobile Solutions within broader customer conversations.
  • Develop enablement materials, customer stories, and repeatable sales plays.
  • Help scale specialist knowledge across the commercial organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and commercial effectiveness.

Continuously Improve

  • Track customer adoption, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Identify emerging opportunities across mobile advertising, AI, privacy, identity, measurement, and customer engagement.
  • Contribute to evolving sales motions and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Help shape the future growth of StackAdapt's Sales Specialist organization.
What you'll bring to the table
  • Experience selling mobile advertising, app marketing, mobile measurement, DSP, ad tech, martech, or adjacent SaaS technologies.
  • Proven ability to engage enterprise marketing leaders in consultative, business-focused conversations.
  • Experience helping customers improve customer acquisition, app growth, engagement, retention, or marketing performance through mobile solutions.
  • Strong executive discovery, solution selling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technology into measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for emerging advertising technologies and AI.

Preferred

  • Experience with mobile advertising platforms or ecosystems such as Moloco, Liftoff, AppLovin, Unity, Google App Campaigns, Apple Search Ads, Branch, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Kochava, Singular, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with mobile attribution, measurement, SKAdNetwork, privacy-first advertising, and app growth strategies.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel advertising, AI-powered optimization, audience activation, and measurement.
  • Experience supporting mid-market and enterprise sales organizations through complex, consultative sales cycles.
