Job Purpose
Collaborate with site leadership and HR colleagues in the region to determine, deliver or implement and continuously improve impactful HR solutions (programs & processes) to business challenges.
First focus is support to our Manufacturing Site and Office in Sanford covering the total HR package on recruitment, workforce planning and development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance and talent management. You will occasionally provide operational HR support to other locations in the N-AMR region.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the recruiting cycle which includes, job posting by both internal and external recruiting channels, agency selection and contact, resume screening, interviewing and onboarding.
  • Provide Payroll support, including checks and balances both on payroll and time & attendance.
  • Accurate data entry and maintenance in all HRIS Systems (SuccessFactors, Dayforce, SAP, etc).
  • Partner with your client group to drive the Talent Management and performance processes including identification of training needs and development of succession plans.
  • Work across the assigned area in the region to develop manager's capability in respect of HR programs & processes. This involves a variety of operational support, providing coaching to manage talent decisions, making impactful communications, running workshops, and acting on internal feedback while connecting HR Partnership and organizational needs.
  • Serves as first point of contact for employees regarding HR matters, employee relations concerns, and HR inquiries. Identify issues, relate HR policy accurately, and strive to clearly communicate how polices apply.
  • Provide to employees and leadership on areas of leave of absence, retirement, attrition, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, laws and employment standards.
  • Other HR related issues assigned by the manager.
 
Requirements:
Education & Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or similar, or equivalent and relevant work experience required.
  • ​​​​SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
 
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources, manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEO.
  • Knowledgeable with policies, procedures and best practices in the area of Human Resources.
 
Competencies
  • Strong stakeholder management, people management and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.
  • Discretion and confidentiality required.
  • Fluent in English – verbal and written.
  • Experience with working in virtual teams.
