Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: St. George, LA

Job Description:

The Human Resources Generalist serves as the primary on-site HR partner supporting two regional offices with a combined workforce of approximately 100+ employees across both professional and field-based roles. This position provides full-spectrum HR support with a strong emphasis on end-to-end recruiting, employee relations, onboarding coordination, and day-to-day HR operational needs.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters across assigned field locations, addressing workplace concerns, conflicts, conduct issues, and policy interpretation in a timely and confidential manner
  • Partner with managers and corporate HR to support fact-finding, documentation, and resolution of employee relations matters
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, attendance, workplace behavior, and policy application
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offers
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and support job description development as needed
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with OFCCP, EEO, and other applicable employment regulations
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking records and recruiting documentation within iCIMS or similar ATS platforms
  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires, ensuring completion of required paperwork, system setup, and a smooth transition into the organization
  • Partner with managers to support onboarding schedules and ensure a positive new hire experience
  • Support HR operational activities including benefits enrollment assistance, employee engagement initiatives, and HR system navigation
  • Assist with performance review cycles, compliance tracking, and HR reporting as needed at the field level
  • Act as a liaison between field offices and Corporate HR to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures


Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience required
  • Strong experience in employee relations required
  • Experience supporting both professional and field/blue-collar employee populations strongly preferred
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting required
  • Experience in OFCCP-compliant or regulated recruiting environments required
  • Experience with iCIMS or similar Applicant Tracking Systems required
  • Experience supporting multi-site or distributed workforce environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices (EEO, ADA, FMLA, OFCCP)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion
