Job Description:
SCOPE: Assists in recruiting functions, employment personnel file upkeep, onboarding preparation and reporting needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assists in recruiting functions including /candidate screening, pre-employment processes, and recruiting operations to help attract and assess qualified candidates, gaining an understanding of effective recruiting strategies, structured interviewing principles, employment law considerations, and the importance of delivering a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
2. Assists the HR department with onboarding and orientation support, developing an understanding of employment recordkeeping requirements, onboarding best practices, and confidentiality standards
3. Provides HR reporting and data analytics support, gaining practical experience in Human Resources reporting, workforce analytics, and data management by learning how HR data is collected, validated, and analyzed to support operational decisions
4. Supports personnel file management and records retention, gaining practical experience in HR records management, employment documentation requirements, regulatory compliance, confidentiality standards, and HR information systems while supporting the department's records retention and file maintenance processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program for Human Resources or equivalent field
