POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Director at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles serves as a key leader within the organization, overseeing all human resources operations while supporting a positive, professional, and employee-focused workplace culture.


In this role, the HR Director manages recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, benefits administration, retention initiatives, and time and attendance processes. They work closely with department leaders to support staffing needs, employee development, training, and performance improvement efforts while serving as a resource for employee relations and HR guidance.


The HR Director also helps ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements while supporting accreditation standards and organizational goals. This position plays an important role in promoting teamwork, professionalism, communication, and employee success throughout the facility.


The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and driven, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and a passion for supporting both employees and the continued growth of Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles.



PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Preferred Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources
License: None Required
Experience: Experience as a Human Resources Manager in the hospital setting preferred; or 3-5 years
as a human resources generalist in the hospital setting. Knowledge of relevant federal, state
and local registration relating to Human Resources, i.e., Title VII of the Civil Rights
Act of 1964, Affirmative Action, ADA, and FMLA. or related experience in nursing
