You'll work directly with the Senior HR Manager while becoming a visible and trusted HR resource for the site's hourly workforce and operations leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of hands-on HR experience and is comfortable independently managing employee issues, answering HR questions, and balancing multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Support employee relations matters, coaching, counseling, HR inquiries, and employee documentation

• Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day stay interviews and help drive employee retention and engagement initiatives

• Support FMLA, short-term disability, benefits, insurance, and other leave-related processes

• Ensure day-to-day HR practices comply with applicable employment laws and company policies

• Assist with onboarding, orientation, I-9, E-Verify, employee separations, and general HR administration

• Working knowledge of fundamental employment laws and HR practices

• Employee relations experience working directly with employees and supervisors

• Experience independently handling day-to-day HR responsibilities and employee questions

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust across all levels of an organization

Preferred Qualifications

• HR experience within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or another hourly workforce environment

• Experience with FMLA, benefits administration, short-term disability, and leave management

• Experience conducting employee retention initiatives or 30-, 60-, and 90-day stay interviews

• Onboarding, orientation, payroll verification, or timekeeping experience

• Experience with UKG or another HRIS platform

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline

• Previous DOT compliance exposure is helpful but not required

Why This Opportunity

• Broad HR Generalist role with exposure across the full employee lifecycle

• Direct partnership with an experienced Senior HR Manager

• Opportunity to make a visible impact on employee engagement and retention

• Hands-on role with meaningful ownership rather than narrowly focused HR responsibilities

• Stable manufacturing environment with a comprehensive benefits package

• Annual bonus opportunity and cell phone allowance

• Opportunity to continue developing your HR career within a larger organization
