Position Responsibilities
About the Role
Deltek is looking for a motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team for a two-month summer internship. This role is designed for a current college student looking to gain hands-on, real-world experience across multiple areas of HR, including benefits, HRIS, employee experience, compensation and internal communications. You'll work directly with HR team members on active projects, gaining exposure to how a global HR function operates day to day.
This is an entry-level opportunity - no prior HR experience is required. We're looking for curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Do
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including data entry, filing, and documentation in our HRIS system
  • Assist with benefits administration tasks and help prepare materials for open enrollment or renewal projects
  • Help coordinate employee experience initiatives and company events or outings
  • Draft and proofread internal communications (emails, announcements, intranet posts)
  • Organize and maintain HR files, trackers, and shared documents
  • Research best practices on assigned HR topics and summarize findings for the team
  • Provide general administrative support to HR team members
  • Participate in team meetings and take notes/action items as needed
  • Research ways to enhancement and automate HR processes with AI
  • Complete a short capstone project or presentation at the end of the internship, summarizing your work and key takeaways

Qualifications

Compensation Info
The U.S. hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
