Job description

Job Title: Senior Network Infrastructure Architect (SDN & SASE Strategy)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Architect to lead the transformation of our global network environment. This is a high-impact role for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of network strategy and technical execution. You will define the roadmaps, design the low-level engineering frameworks, and act as the final escalation point for our most complex operational challenges.
This role is for a "holistic" thinker who understands that modern networking is no longer just about BGP and switching; it is about SASE, ZTNA, and the full automation of the network lifecycle. If you are passionate about building secure-by-design, software-defined ecosystems and enjoy cross-training with other high-level engineers, this is an opportunity to shape our infrastructure for the next decade.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Design & Roadmap
Holistic Architecture: Develop strategies and roadmaps for next-generation network and firewall systems. Ensure all designs integrate seamlessly across Cloud, LAN, WAN, and Wireless platforms.
SDN & Automation: Architect and implement a mature Software-Defined Networking (SDN) model. Drive the transition from manual provisioning to "Network-as-Code" automation.
Security-by-Design: Integrate SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) and ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) frameworks into all new designs. Ensure security is a primary component of the infrastructure, not an afterthought.
Technical Execution & SME Support
Low-Level Design: Create detailed build instructions and engineering designs that empower operations teams to execute with precision.
Operational SME: Act as a Tier-3 escalation point for P1/P2 incidents. Partner with operations leads to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and design systemic action plans to prevent recurrence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, security teams, and cross-functional tower leads to review design changes, approve standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Experience Baseline: Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and developing vendor-agnostic Software-Defined Networking (SDN) platforms.
Core Expertise:
oModern Architecture: Proven experience defining requirements and designing SASE, ZTNA, and Secure Web Gateway solutions.
oCore Technologies: Expert-level knowledge of Cisco routing/switching, Palo Alto firewalls, Azure Cloud Networking, and MPLS.
oProtocols/Services: Deep understanding of L2/L3 connectivity, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, TLS, and DNS/DHCP.
Certification: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or equivalent high-level industry certification.
Preferred Attributes
Experience integrating network automation with modern telemetry and monitoring solutions.
Ability to translate high-level business strategy into detailed engineering solutions (Visio/Design Documentation).
Experience creating technology roadmaps that balance immediate operational stability with long-term strategic goals.
