Title: HR Administrator
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Pay: $21.50/hr
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Center City)
Schedule:
  • 5 days onsite during training
  • Post-training: 4 days onsite + 1 work-from-home day (Tuesday or Thursday)
Position Overview
LHH is partnering with a growing organization to hire an HR Administrator to support the Human Resources team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with clerical or office experience who is looking to build a long-term career in Human Resources. The role offers exposure to onboarding, benefits, employee support, and HR systems, with strong potential for growth in responsibilities, title, and compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Employee Support:
  • Assist with onboarding processes including collecting and verifying I-9 documentation
  • Coordinate background checks and drug screenings for new hires
  • Support new hire onboarding workflows and documentation
HR Operations & Projects:
  • Provide administrative support for HR initiatives and ad-hoc projects
  • Assist with the rollout of a new Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Partner with HR leadership on various day-to-day activities
Benefits & Payroll Support:
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, including active enrollment periods
  • Learn and support payroll processes using UKG
  • Help respond to employee HR-related inquiries
Events & Engagement:
  • Support planning and coordination of company events and employee initiatives
  • Assist with community outreach efforts and engagement programs
Qualifications
Required:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
  • Motivated to learn and grow within Human Resources
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple managers and adapt to different working styles
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Preferred:
  • Clerical or office administrative experience
  • Interest in transitioning into or growing within HR
  • Experience with Canva is a plus
