DESCRIPTION
The Human Resource Intern will support the HR team with a variety of projects and administrative activities while gaining hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines, including recruiting, employee engagement, onboarding, training, HR compliance, and HR operations. This internship provides exposure to the day-to-day functions of a growing manufacturing and automation organization and offers valuable professional development opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources Administration
  • Assist with maintaining employee records and HR files.
  • Support data entry and audits within HR systems.
  • Help prepare HR reports, presentations, and employee communications.
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and new hire orientation activities.
  • Support HR compliance initiatives and document management.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Assist with posting positions on job boards and company career sites.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Help maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting metrics.

HR Projects
  • Support ongoing HR initiatives related to employee engagement, recognition, wellness, training, and culture.
  • Assist with research, benchmarking, and data collection for HR programs.
  • Help develop training materials, employee resources, and process documentation as needed.
  • Participate in special projects related to talent development, employee experience, and organizational initiatives.

Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Assist with employee recognition programs and engagement activities.
  • Help coordinate company events
  • Support employee surveys and feedback initiatives (exit interviews, onboarding surveys)
  • Other duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive. Having a passion for exceptional customer service and support is a must. Being sensitive to the unpredictable demands and uncertainties associated with human resources is a requisite to delivering superior results and exceeding the expectations of our internal and external customers.

EDUCATION
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Prior HR internship, work, leadership, or campus involvement experience required.
