Job Overview
This position supports core human resources functions across the employee lifecycle and helps ensure efficient HR operations, a positive employee experience, and compliance with employment policies and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administer the scholarship and ambassador award program, including nominations, review, and selection.
  • Support recruitment activities, interviews, and hiring in partnership with the Recruiter and department leaders.
  • Coordinate and deliver onboarding, orientation, and employee training programs.
  • Track training completion and supports compliance with required certifications and learning activities.
  • Assist with HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, performance management, recognition, and safety initiatives.
  • Respond to routine employment-related questions and escalate complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and HR documentation.
  • Support investigations, disciplinary processes, and separations as assigned.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and HR process improvements.
  • Maintain HRIS data and assist with audits, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Stay current on HR trends, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Analytical, adaptable, and proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HRIS, payroll, and related systems; Paylocity experience preferred.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, required.
  • Five or more years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Hospitality industry experience preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Evening, weekend, holiday, and occasional travel availability may be required based on business needs.
