  • Advanced Test Mastery: Deep knowledge of FAA knowledge examination content covering aerodynamics, aircraft systems, meteorology, navigation, regulations, flight operations, weight and balance, and human factors for pilot certification. Ability to explain principles of flight, airspace classifications, weather interpretation, and flight planning procedures while preparing aviation students for FAA written knowledge examinations.
  • Strategic Test-Taking & Problem-Solving: Skilled at teaching aeronautical chart interpretation, weather report analysis, and flight planning calculations for FAA examinations. Guides students through interpreting METARs and TAFs, calculating weight and balance, planning cross-country flights, understanding airspace requirements, and applying Federal Aviation Regulations. Emphasizes connecting theoretical knowledge to practical flight decision-making and aviation safety.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with FAA knowledge examination content and common challenges such as weather interpretation complexity, airspace classification memorization, and navigation calculation accuracy. Adapts instruction using FAA test preparation materials, flight planning exercises, and practice examinations to support private, instrument, and commercial pilot candidates preparing for FAA knowledge examinations.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
