What is a fractional recruiter?

A fractional recruiter is a talent acquisition professional who works with organizations on a part-time or contract basis, rather than as a full-time, in-house employee. This flexible arrangement allows businesses to access experienced recruiting support without committing to a permanent hire, making it ideal for startups, small businesses, or companies with fluctuating hiring needs. Fractional recruiters can bring specialized expertise and a fresh perspective to an organization’s hiring process.

To thrive as a Fractional Recruiter, you need a strong background in talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, and client relationship management, often supported by experience in recruiting across multiple industries.
