The Opportunity The Kennedy Collective is seeking an experienced
Government Contracts - HUD Project Manager to serve as the on-site operational leader for our federal AbilityOne contract supporting the HUD Financial Operations Center (FOC). This role is responsible for day-to-day staff supervision, workflow execution, quality control, and contract compliance for high-volume administrative and financial services.
As
Government Contracts - HUD Project Manager, you'll be the primary on-site point of contact with HUD leadership, ensuring work is delivered accurately, securely, and in full alignment with federal requirements and contract expectations.
What You'll Do- Lead, mentor, guide and manager an on-site team of approximately eight emerging professionals.
- Lead daily on-site operations supporting Title I claims, premiums, and mail processing
- Translate contract requirements, SOPs, and HUD guidance into clear daily work plans
- Monitor workloads, staffing coverage, backlogs, and performance risks
- Serve as the primary liaison to the HUD Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
- Ensure compliance with HUD security, privacy, and records management standards
- Track performance metrics, prepare reports, and support audits and reviews
- Address operational issues in real time and implement corrective actions as needed
- Identify process improvements to strengthen performance and contract stability
Requirements
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing on-site teams in a regulated or government environment
- Experience supervising staff performing high-volume administrative or financial work
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft 365 applications for professional tasks
- Strong understanding of compliance-driven operations
- Ability to obtain and maintain required HUD background clearance
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
