Monarch Manufacturing, Inc.'s Human Resources Department's Human Resources Specialist is responsible for managing an employee's experience, from the application process to when they leave the company.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:
  • Conduct analyses on all current positions and update job descriptions as needed.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to interview and select high-quality employees to fill open positions.
  • Maintain the company's workforce by addressing health, safety, and worker-management issues, including compliance with state and federal workplace laws.
  • Evaluate current training and development programs to determine educational needs while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Lead the performance review process by sending documents to appropriate recipients and scheduling meetings.
  • Complete various reports and verify timecards daily.
  • Assess employee benefits.
  • Dedication to keeping a clean working environment.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, consistency, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Forms is preferred but not required.
Experience with HRIS systems such as BambooHR is preferred but not required.

  • Moving about accomplishing tasks or moving from one workstation to another on an occasional basis.
  • Adjusting or moving objects of varying weights in all directions.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

JOB LOCATION:
Sullivan, Illinois.
PAY SCALE:
$22.00 to $25.00 an hour.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM. (40 hours a week).
