Credentialed School Nurse (CSN) | Up to $55/hr | Sanger, CA

Up to $55/hr | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Nights or Weekends

Looking for a nursing position where you can use your clinical experience without working nights, weekends, or hospital shifts?

Covelo Group is hiring a Credentialed School Nurse (CSN) in Sanger, CA to support students ages 3-22 during the school day. You’ll provide direct nursing care, manage student health needs, and work with families and school teams to help students safely participate in their education.

What You'll Do

Provide first aid, triage, routine nursing care, and emergency response

Support students with diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, severe allergies, and other health conditions

Administer routine and emergency medications

Develop and maintain Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)

Support health-related components of IEPs and 504 plans

Perform or supervise specialized healthcare procedures as needed, including feeding tubes, catheters, tracheostomies, ventilators, and respiratory treatments

Maintain student health, immunization, and screening records

Communicate with parents, medical providers, teachers, and school staff about student health needs

Provide health education and guidance to students, families, and staff

What You’ll Need

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Active and unrestricted California RN license

Preliminary or Clear California School Nurse Services Credential, as required for the assignment

Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association

1-3 years of school nursing experience preferred

Ability to perform medication calculations and routine nursing-related math

Ability to respond to medical emergencies and perform CPR

Reliable transportation and ability to travel between school sites as needed
