Job description

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our client's team! This role requires fluency in English and Spanish. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, training, and HR policy implementation. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping foster a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR information systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation processes.
  • Assist with payroll processing by maintaining accurate employee records and submitting required changes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations as needed, and recommending appropriate resolutions.
  • Coordinate performance management activities, including performance reviews and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate employee training, engagement, recognition, and wellness programs.

Requirements:

  • Prior Human Resources experience
  • Experience processing payroll
  • Bachelor's degree
