JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing operations team. This role serves as a hands-on HR Generalist supporting production, warehouse, and office employees across recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, employee relations, training coordination, and HR operations.
The role emphasizes supporting production and warehouse employees across hiring, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee relations, while also owning onboarding coordination for office employees and supporting sales training logistics. Payroll responsibilities will be introduced and expanded over time in partnership with Finance and HR leadership. This position will continue to grow into broader HR Generalist responsibilities over time.
The role is structured with approximately focus on production and warehouse HR support, payroll processing support, office onboarding/orientation, and supporting sales training logistics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Warehouse HR Generalist Support 
  • Serve as primary HR support for production and warehouse employees across the employee lifecycle, in partnership with the Senior HR Generalist
  • Lead high-volume recruiting for production/warehouse roles
  • Coordinate interviews, hiring events, and candidate flow
  • Partner with supervisors and operations leaders on hiring decisions
  • Manage candidate communication and experience
  • Own onboarding for all production/warehouse new hires
  • Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation
  • Ensure completion of pre-employment requirements
  • Support early employee experience (first 30-60-90 days)
  • Support PTO tracking and attendance management
  • Support employee relations in conjunction with the Senior HR Generalist
  • Assist with investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action
  • Coach supervisors on day-to-day employee management and best practices
  • Reinforce consistent application of policies and procedures on the floor
  • Support performance management and corrective action processes in partnership with HR leadership
  • Assist supervisors with employee coaching, attendance management, and policy interpretation
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR/payroll data integrity within ADP
  • Respond to employee questions related to timekeeping, payroll coordination, policies, onboarding, and HR procedures
  • Participate in HR process improvement initiatives and operational projects and committees.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives within production and warehouse teams
  • Support safety program and building a culture of safety
Payroll Processing & Coordination Support
  • Serve as a backup payroll processor in partnership with Finance, with payroll responsibilities introduced and expanded over time based on business needs, training, and demonstrated readiness.
  • Assist with payroll preparation activities such as reviewing timecards, PTO entries, missed punches, manager approvals, and basic payroll data accuracy before payroll is finalized.
  • Respond to basic employee questions related to payroll, timekeeping, PTO, and payroll processes, escalating complex or sensitive matters to Finance or HR leadership as appropriate.
Office Onboarding & HR Coordination 
  • Coordinate all onboarding activities for salaried/office employees across departments
  • Manage a structured onboarding plan (30-60-90 day experience) in partnership with hiring managers
  • Coordinate cross-functional onboarding logistics
  • Training schedules, internal meetings, and introductions
  • Travel, calendars, and communication with new hires
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience for all office employees
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to continuously improve onboarding processes and materials
  • Provide HR coordination support including interview scheduling and administrative execution
  • Assist with HR administrative processes and cross-functional HR coordination
  • Support HR reporting, documentation, and workflow management within HR systems

Sales Training Coordination & Support

  • Partner closely with the Corporate Sales Trainer to support all training coordination and logistics
  • Manage training calendars, scheduling, and communication across the sales organization
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development programs for sales employees
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth execution of all sales training initiatives

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-5 years of HR experience (Coordinator or Generalist preferred)
  • Experience with payroll processing preferred
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, or LMS systems preferred
