Job description

Job Title: Data Business Analyst (HR Data) - E360 RIF Module
Location: Preferred - New York (NY) / Alpharetta (GA)
Work Hours: US EST business hours required
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Business Analyst (HR Data) to define, analyze, and validate the HR data layer supporting the E360 Reduction in Force (RIF) module. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HR data domains, data mapping, Snowflake datasets, and data validation. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, Snowflake developers, and upstream HR data teams to ensure accurate, secure, and reporting-ready data solutions that support E360 roster management, decision workflows, and compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define HR data requirements for the E360 RIF module, including employee attributes, RIF selection criteria, and enrichment data elements such as selection rationale, severance indicators, role elimination flags, and communicator assignments.
  • Analyze and map HR source data from Workday and upstream data distribution platforms (DDP) to target Snowflake data models supporting E360 RIF roster views and reporting needs.
  • Validate Snowflake datasets to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, row-level security, and entitlement compliance.
  • Develop and execute data validation strategies and test cases across data ingestion (DDP → Snowflake) and consumption layers (Snowflake → E360).
  • Partner with Snowflake developers to define data models, transformation rules, and write-back patterns for RIF-related data enrichment.
  • Support the design and validation of Adverse Impact and legal reporting datasets, including demographic analysis of impacted versus retained employee populations.
  • Ensure data solutions align with enterprise data governance, privacy, security, and access-control standards.
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage documentation, and Snowflake dataset specifications across HR data domains.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and functional stakeholders to ensure data requirements align with end-to-end RIF business processes and workflow requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar data-focused role, preferably within HR technology or financial services environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR data domains, including workforce management, employee demographics, compensation, headcount, and talent data.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake data modeling, dataset analysis, and data validation.
  • Experience working with Workday HR data and API-driven data integration/distribution patterns (e.g., DDP, Apigee).
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation, data analysis, and reviewing transformation logic.
  • Experience gathering reporting requirements and supporting Power BI semantic models and dashboards.
  • Ability to work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and compliance teams in a highly regulated environment.
  • Availability to work during US EST business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in compliance-sensitive environments with strong knowledge of RBAC, row-level security, data entitlements, and audit controls.
  • Familiarity with Adverse Impact analysis and regulatory/legal HR reporting requirements.
  • Prior experience supporting workforce reduction, organizational restructuring, or headcount analytics initiatives.
  • Experience in financial services or large enterprise HR data ecosystems is highly preferred.
