POSITION PURPOSE

A Laborer must be able to support the Mason Journeyman with brick, block and/or stone completing custom work on distinctive projects. A Laborer is required to complete work safely, with quality and within productivity specifications as directed by the foreman or superintendent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares surfaces for laying brick, clock, or stone.
  • Prepares and mixes mortar to appropriate amount to be spread over brick, block, and stone.
  • Clean, organize and maintain all tools and equipment on the job sites.
  • Stock materials for masons.
  • Participates in daily huddles and practices safety as a priority on all job sites.
  • Models The Gallegos Corporation mission and values at all times.
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
