A Day in the Life as a Housing Support Specialist:
As a Housing Support Specialist, you'll work directly with individuals and families experiencing housing instability or homelessness. You'll be a trusted advocate and resource for clients, playing a pivotal role in improving their housing stability and overall well-being. Your day will involve:
  • Assisting clients in navigating housing programs, securing safe and affordable housing, and accessing resources.
  • Conducting intake assessments to determine eligibility and needs.

  • Providing ongoing support and case management to help clients maintain stable housing.

Requirements
Qualifications to Be a Housing Support Specialist:
