Role Summary:
  • Responsible for assisting in the supervision and daily responsibilities of the Housekeepers (Stylists), Laundry Attendants, and Public Area Attendants. Responsible for maintaining the highest standards pertaining to cleanliness, sanitation, and the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas on a daily basis to ensure standards of cleanliness.
  • Resolve guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct ongoing training of all housekeeping associates to increase job knowledge and skill level.
  • Promote teamwork and positive morale.
  • Assist in running pre-shift meeting, distribute keys and assignments, and ensure proper grooming standards are met.
  • Communicate all policies and procedures for housekeeping and special cleaning projects.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, laundry area, lost and found, storage rooms, employee break room, and Guest Room Attendants' carts.
  • Ensure ready status of all rooms daily.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
  • Inspect room for maintenance needs and report on maintenance service requests.
  • Perform daily general cleaning duties, including but not limited to changing of bedspreads, blankets, mattress pads and shower curtains, as assigned; ability and willingness to assist in cleaning guest rooms (i.e. act in Housekeeper position), when needed.
  • Operate laundry equipment and maintain public area cleanliness.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Demonstrate safe working behaviors at all times.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Prior hotel supervisor or lead experience preferred.
  • Experience in a full-service hotel a plus.
  • Flexible availability is required including weekends.
Compensation:
  • The starting hourly pay for this position is $18.00, depending on experience.
