Housekeeping Supervisor

The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking an energetic, service-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our housekeeping team in delivering clean, comfortable, and welcoming accommodations for every guest.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll coach and support associates, inspect guest rooms and public spaces, ensure Hyatt brand standards are met, and help create an exceptional experience for both guests and team members. Schedule & Pay

  • Starting pay: $18.00/hour, with opportunities for growth based on experience
  • Full-time, non-exempt (overtime eligible)
  • Primary 1st shift, but possibly covering some 2nd shift hours, and including some weekends and holidays as occupancy dictates

What You'll Do

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll lead by example to ensure every guest room and public space reflects Hyatt's high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. You'll support, coach, and develop your team while helping create exceptional experiences for both our guests and fellow associates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and support Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure Hyatt brand standards are met
  • Coordinate daily assignments and staffing priorities
  • Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping associates
  • Assist with performance coaching and documentation
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and service recovery opportunities
  • Oversee Lost & Found procedures
  • Monitor safety, security, and key control procedures
  • Assist with inventory, supplies, and department administration
  • Step in to support the team as needed during peak occupancy
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience
