Harvest Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation | Keota, IA
Harvest Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Keota, IA.
Position Details
  • Status: Part-Time
  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Schedule: Must be available to work every other weekend
Responsibilities
  • Follow established housekeeping procedures and infection control guidelines
  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facility workspaces
  • Assist with industrial cleaning equipment, including floor buffers and floor scrubbers
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and addressing simple repairs
  • Lift and transport supplies, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
