A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING STAFF
As a housekeeper, you will be led by a veteran leader, Linda Preuss, who will offer you training, guidance and wisdom to ensure your success in your role. Sometimes you will function as a floor technician, cleaning stripping and waxing floors and carpets throughout the facility. Sometimes you will function as a housekeeper, cleaning the resident rooms, restrooms, hallways and common areas. With a close eye for detail, you ensure quality and deep cleaning for residents' rooms after discharge and prepare rooms for new admissions. Sometimes you will work with Linda on special projects that are completely quarterly.
As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in our community. You take great care to enhance safety and sanitary conditions. You live up to the trust of those in your care by complying with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations, maintaining knowledge of and following all company policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors and your colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOUSEKEEPING STAFF
  • Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to work some weekends as assigned
  • Housekeeping experience preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is required.
  • Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.
